Professional Bio
Something feels off, in a relationship, in yourself, or in the distance between who you are and how you're living. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship patterns, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm, offering online sessions across Vancouver and British Columbia.
My approach is grounded, trauma-informed, and collaborative, drawing on an integrative mix of parts work, attachment-informed practice, family of origin work, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method, all of it in service of the relationship between us, which research consistently shows matters more than any single technique.
Sessions are a space to stay with what is present, understand it, and find a way through that feels real. This space is open to people across a range of identities and relationships, including BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ2S+ clients.
Counselling chose me after twenty years working alongside people in transition, conflict, and growth. What I kept finding was that beneath most struggle is someone carrying more than they were ever shown how to hold. This work is about learning to hold it. I hold the designation of Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (Provisional), MPCC-P, through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association, and trained at Rhodes Wellness College.
